Sign In
Tell Claude to connect your account. Chrome opens Alberta's real sign-in page — you log in with your MyAlberta Digital ID.

Claude Desktop extension path
Your computer talks directly to Alberta Health
The extension runs on your computer and fetches your health data straight from Alberta's official portals. These records do not pass through our download website or our remote MCP server.
Your health data is sent to Claude for your conversation
Claude is made by Anthropic, which processes conversations in the United States. Your health data becomes part of that conversation. How long it is kept depends on your account, settings, and Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not manage or delete Claude Desktop's conversation history.
Sign-in details stay on your computer
The MCP does not keep a health-record database. It saves encrypted sign-in cookies and a dedicated Chrome profile, which may retain cookies and browser data. Ordinary disconnect removes the saved MCP session, not the browser's remembered sign-in or Claude's history. Protect your computer account: local encryption does not protect against someone using that same account.
Review your AI privacy settings
Check Claude's privacy settings before sharing health records. Training and retention rules depend on your plan and settings. Turning off model improvement is not the same as deleting conversations. Other AI hosts have their own policies.
Downloads need no name, email, or reason. This website is hosted in Azure Central US; download storage and the separate remote MCP server are in Canada Central. We have removed browser analytics and custom download tracking, but hosting services can still see IP addresses and request metadata. Earlier access requests, emails, and logs may remain pending separately approved cleanup. Read the full privacy details.

What is PubMed?
PubMed is a free database of over 36 million medical research articles. It's run by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Doctors and researchers use it every day to find the latest studies and evidence. When you add it to Claude, you can search it too — just by asking.
Visit PubMedCheck what you share with other tools
PubMed receives the search words sent by its connector. Those words can reveal health interests. Review tool requests and avoid including names or personal details. Other connectors have their own privacy policies.

Is my health data stored or shared?

Is it free?
The MyAI Health extension is free. You do need a Claude Desktop subscription (from Anthropic) to use it. The extension itself is open source.
Why does Claude Desktop say "Installing will grant access to everything on your computer"?
Claude Desktop warns that local extensions run with your operating-system permissions. MyAI Health uses a dedicated Chrome profile and saves encrypted sign-in cookies on your computer. This warning is not a security guarantee. Only install software you trust; the source is available on GitHub.
Can I view health records for family members?
Yes — if a family member has granted you proxy access through AHS MyChart (Connect Care), you can view their health records too. Just ask Claude to list your shared records, then switch to viewing their data. This works for parents checking their children's records, adult children helping elderly parents, or anyone who has been granted shared access.
